RedRacer's Define Released 10 Years Ago Today: November 19th
Dissention Records is proud to celebrate 10 years since RedRacer's debut release, Define.
This was the record that was first roughly written in London, UK but then completely turned on its head once the band stepped foot on desert soil. We guess - though - it wasn't just the soil that had such an impact, but the studio and the setting that did. To record at Rancho De La Luna Studios changed the DNA, not just of the songs that comprised the album, but of the guys that made the album. John Hogg and Sean Genockey took this opportunity and created new life with it. And they were joined along the way by such greats as Dave Catching, Joey Castillo, Hayden Scott, Abbey Travis and Jesse Hughes, and several other friends.
We can't believe it's been 10 years. Then again, it feels like a lifetime ago.
And we can't let that happen for a second time.
Wonder what RedRacer could come up with for the next album given such extraordinary surroundings that they thrive so well in.
