“We sound like Edith Piaf on bath salts or Serge Gainsbourg sober,” says punk-influenced French rock band SINNER SINNERS.  We couldn’t agree more.

 

After spending the last several years living, performing and thriving in the greater Los Angeles area, SINNER SINNERS – founded by husband and wife duo Sam and Steve Thill – have incontrovertibly found their groove. Their first album, Cardinal Sins, was released in 2011 and featured appearances from affiliated bands such as The Morlocks, Time Again, The Elderberries and Cocoon. The album artwork was designed by world renowned tattoo artist Dan Smith (Kat Von D's High Voltage Tattoo).

 

They marched their way onto the national scene in 2014 with the release of their raucous, aggressive second full-length, XI, produced by Nic Jodoin-produced (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) and returned in 2016 with Optimism Disorder – an auditory Molotov cocktail exploding with the intensity of early '80s hardcore fused with an incendiary '70s goth punk ethos. 

 

In early 2017, SINNER SINNERS found management and recording home at independent label, Dissention Records and Artist Management, through mutual friend, Jesse Hughes (Eagles of Death Metal).  Since then, the band have landed a major European support tour with Nashville Pussy and will release their first single off their next album, Bleached Out Sessions, again produced by Nic Jodoin, which will be distributed on powerhouse Sony Red/The Orchard.  The single will be released on October 24, 2017.

 

SINNER SINNERS have shared the stage with bands such as Refused, The Sonics, Black Flag, Jello Biafra, and have opened for Eagles of Death Metal in the US and on their European tour. After a very successful year, the band is ready to hit the road yet again and perform their new single Bleached Out Sessions touring Europe with Nashville Pussy.
